Theth Valley and the Crystal-Clear Waters of the Lumi i Thethit

Highlight • River

The Lumi and Thethit river is the axis of the entire valley – it flows through its center, collecting water from numerous springs and streams descending from the peaks of Radohima and Arapi. It is this river that, over thousands of years, has carved out the wide, stony valley floor and the characteristic limestone gorges. Its hallmark is the incredibly clear, turquoise water, which remains icy even in summer. In many places, the river spreads out into wide gravel banks, creating natural resting spots for hikers. Interestingly, when hiking through Theth, it's hard to lose sight of it – the trail repeatedly returns to its bank, and the sound of the water is an almost constant companion on the march.

Would not reccomend the section between .97 and 1.15 miles in. Very steep (climbing not walking) portions. If i did it again would walk arounf the road a bit. Overall great walk, quite technical at places, one to ddi if youre a confident walker

This tour is not recommended for chasing. The paths to the area of the village of Theth are hardly or not at all available. It's 80% off-road. Only with compass or GPS device. Loose scree, old streams, forest areas - but everything with increases of 20% and more. No safe stop/step possible.
