The word "skerry" comes from the Old Norse word for a rock in the sea. Built from granite fieldstones in 1884, this harbour is a peaceful spot that still serves as a home for local fishing boats. Just a stone's throw away, you'll find a beautiful sandy beach, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy the serene seaside atmosphere. It’s a great example of the cosy, well-preserved fishing hamlets that dot the Bornholm coastline.

Hike to Denmark's highest waterfall 😂. At least approx. 5 meters free fall. Very nice walk through the Kobbea Bachtal valley, wild garlic everywhere, then the waterfall at the end, back through the rapeseed fields with Baltic Sea view and also a stretch along the impressive cliff coast.
