We set off from the historic Chorin train station in the direction of Sandkrug, accompanied by our furry granddaughter Kira. We head into the forest and are greeted by a storm of millions of mosquitoes. Oh dear, today of all days I forgot to take the mosquito killer... so we hike quickly. Past lakes, through lush forest and villages directly …

Anyone who goes to Chorin Monastery will visit the monastery...yes, of course 😅 they might also walk around the Amtssee lake, and that's probably it. A short detour through the vineyard is also worthwhile, though. Just a tip for your next visit 😉
