Nice, quick tour through the Meinweg to the "free" Netherlands, where the heather is now in bloom and you can experience one highlight after another along the way. In Rothenbach, directly behind the German border, there are many shopping opportunities (even on Sundays!) and of course "Frikandel met Friet" or - depending on the season - Bakvis or Matjes.
