Would I dare?
Cheer up, it sure is fun 😃!
However, it doesn't look really stable, so it certainly won't carry an adult. But the idea is great 👍 and in exactly the right place 😉!

Ternscher See Beach

Highlight • Beach

The Ternscher lake is a 15-acre lake in the peasantry Ternsche, city Selm (circle Unna, North Rhine-Westphalia). He is an artificial lake, which was created in 1934/35 in the clay extraction for the expansion of the nearby Dortmund-Ems channel, that inadvertently a groundwater-bearing layer was pierced, so that the pit filled with groundwater.

The lake has a maximum length of approx. 600 m and a maximum width of approx. 380 m. It is fed by several sources in the lake. Its water quality is controlled and meets the highest criteria. On its south shore there is a beach and a campsite; The private properties on the north shore are partly built with weekend cottages, partly with villas. The outcrop of the Ternscher lake forms the Ternsche as inflow of the Stever, which flows into the lip.

In 1938, among other mammoth tusks, rhinoceros skulls and reindeer bones were found during excavations. [1] [3]

Opposite Komoot, a path leads along the main road. This path is quite natural. A fine way for humans and dogs.

Ternscher Lake

Highlight • Lake

The Ternscher See was the destination of my tour and I was rewarded by the beautiful place. After a small snack and a cooling cyclist at the beach bar, I was looking forward to the wonderful return trip. That was my most beautiful route so far.
