Instead of taking the volcano route (clouds), we drove to Cumbrecita. There we visited the two viewpoints overlooking the Caldera Taburiente and the island's roof. Then we descended to the Virgin del Pino Chapel. We got very close to the cliffs. Only at the end did the rain catch us. A Barraquito, a successful Plan B, was ours.
