Great achievement in making the old border accessible to us hikers again. We were lucky enough to meet some of the trail sponsors.

A beautiful tour, but not continuously accessible. Before the penultimate kilometer there is a sign that the path into the valley is not accessible. Due to lack of time I took it anyway, it is really difficult to walk on. You should look for an alternative route in advance. Fallen trees and overgrown gorse bar the way.

The Silver Path is a beautiful circular hiking trail, unfortunately only signposted in one direction and sometimes only poorly. From 7.8km to 8.4km the path is completely overgrown and basically no longer passable!

Muddy and foggy round. If we walked the inaccessible part, we had to fight through thick gorse and birch trees.
The 3rd picture is added afterwards and belongs behind the 19th picture

I walked the "wrong" path and that's why I squeezed through gorse and birch trees... On the other side there is a sign that the path is not completely accessible at the moment...

The original route is not completely accessible at the moment! A piece after the Gottesgabe pit to the Hammerweiher can only be reached via a difficult descent and imaginary paths. You also have to pay close attention to the signage if you find it.

Today Majo wanted to go on the Silver Trail. Despite snow-rain from above and heavy deep snow from below, we went on the Silver Trail. A nice lap in the summer, but we were challenged a lot today. Here and there there are still some unsightly spots, but still beautiful 😁👍
Arrived soaking wet at Hammerweiher, our base was still …

Based on the komoot map, I was expecting a route through a lot of forest, which I'm not really into at the moment. So I was really lucky that a lot of this area had been cleared a few years ago, and the primary forest was just beginning to emerge. So, I enjoyed plenty of open views and plenty of …
