The Siegerland is so beautiful. Hiked a great round and we were absolutely thrilled. Soooo much panorama, practically in every curve a new view. Just beautiful.

Today I chose a slightly flatter and shorter round to get back on. It's amazing how the landscape around the Dautenbach has changed since I was last there. The path to the Zinsbach is now completely in the sun, because the forest here has also been largely cleared. But it has also been reforested.

Today we took advantage of the wonderful weather and did a lap around Volnsberg and Breitenbach.
Great panoramas deep into the Westerwald, Wittgenstein and over Siegen accompanied us.

Another highlight was the flock of sheep and the three alpacas, which had just been driven onto the meadow at the Birkenhof and showed no shyness at all.
