Villa Butta was built at the end of the 18th century and is the work of the Belluno architect Valentino Alpago Novello who built a typical Belluno villa by combining the model of the Venetian villa with the ancient rural houses.
The general layout is strongly symmetrical with the main building which rises high with respect to the two side wings and consists of three floors with a portico on the ground floor, a balcony on the main floor and a tympanum with three large windows.
All the openings on the first floor are highlighted by stone decorations and tympanums, while the columns of the portico are decorated with ashlar.
The villa is surrounded by a large garden, starting from the main entrance of the building anticipated by a high iron gate and stone pillars that closes a long lawn marked by a path with low bushes.
At the rear, the villa opens onto a large grassy land with trees against the backdrop of the slopes of Mount Serva.
