Ribadesella Waterfront

Highlight • Settlement

Ribadesella is very famous for two facts: for being the place where the prehistoric Cueva de Tito Bustillo is located, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco and for celebrating the Descent of the Sella in August, in which herds of people canoe down the Sella . In summer it becomes one of the most active centers of Asturian tourism.

Cuevas del Mar Beach

Highlight • Beach

Cuevas del Mar Beach is one of the best-known beaches in Asturias. It's located in a bay protected by rock walls. The sea has carved out crevices, grottos, and caves in the rock, hence its name. Along the access path, you can enjoy a meal and a refreshing drink at a pleasant beach bar.

One of the few natural cavities that can be crossed by road. It gives access to the town of Cuevas del Agua. For 300 winding meters you can see magnificent stalactites, stalagmites and other formations with names such as "La lengua del diablo" or "Las barbas de Santiago"
