A wonderful tour through spring! It goes through meadows and forests, always uphill on the well-developed volcano cycle path. As this is an old railway line, the ascent is always between 0 and a maximum of 3%. A rustic restaurant at the highest point of the volcano cycle path is the ideal reward. After that, it's all downhill back.

Today we went over the Vogelsberg to the Wetterau. The volcano cycle path is always a highlight. From Stockheim then on very nice paths to Büdingen. Unfortunately there was no more time to visit the city with the castle. Then we went back to Neuhof by train. From there again by bike over the Lützgrund to Hosenfeld.
