Highlight • Viewpoint

On the north side of the railroad tracks the park widens to a pleasant lawn gently sloping down to the beach. Great viewpoint, and a small community center with restrooms and water

Duck Pond

Highlight • Lake

Right on the edge of the SR-56 Bike Path is the Duck Pond where you can often see turtles sunning themselves right on the concrete edge of the trail. This delightful sight is a must-stop for any nature-lover to snap a photo or two of these animals hilariously (and sometimes precariously!) balanced on the edge of the bike path.

Tin Fish at Oceanside Pier

Highlight • Restaurant

The 600 meter long pier is the longest wooden pier on the American west coast. It has existed in its current form since 1925. It is visited by many hikers and fishermen. At the end is the Ruby's. An American diner in the style of the 50's later with delicious milkshakes and good fast food. The view over the Pacific is fantastic.
