Bad Staffelstein, just a few kilometers south of Lichtenfels.
The place has a very nice old building structure with many half-timbered houses, such as the town hall.
The Kurpark is also interesting and recommendable.

The bike tour leads from Bamberg, Hallstadt, Kemmern to Bad Staffelstein mainly on well-developed bike paths on the Main and some road passages. Back mostly on bike paths and road via Scheßlitz and Memmelsdorf. There are plenty of good places to stop for refreshments on the tour. I had my stops at the Gasthof Jüngling in Zapfendorf (delicious roasts), Cafe …

Unfortunately not a very nice tour - not very strenuous but also little shade, little forest - but all the more fried in the sun.
With the exception: The Lauterbachtal - super beautiful and sometimes worth a hike.
Lunch then in the beer garden of Staffelberg-Bräu in Loffeld - absolutely recommendable!!!!

Beautiful and varied tour from the Bamberg camping island. There's a bit of everything. Short sections along the main road, quiet stretches on country roads with little traffic and well-developed cycle paths through nature. We really liked the "Obere Mühle" beer garden in Rattelsberg. Fresh light beer 🍺 and tasty snacks 🥨 make you want to take a break...
