Our night's accommodation in Bamberg was south-east of the city in a beautiful meadow landscape on the Regnitz, from where we started the 4th stage in the early Sunday calm. The cycle path out of Bamberg along the banks of the Regnitz is 10 times more attractive than entering the city the day before.
