Demanding tour, but worthwhile due to the magnificent view.
Starting at the Jochberg hiking car park, the route mostly goes through woods up to the Kohleralm. Here you can get cool drinks from the Bavarian drinks machine. The route then continues steadily up through mountain pines to the Gamsknogl. Ropes are installed in places, but not absolutely necessary.
