Armeno

Highlight • Settlement

Armeno is located on the slope that from Orta S. Giulio goes to Mottarone. Worth a visit for the splendid Romanesque parish church of the Assumption with indications that date it back to the third century

Comments

April 9, 2023,Auf den Cima Mottarone
The ascent to Mottarone was long and - what I hadn't thought of before - very steep. Often 14, but also 17...18% were displayed. At the top then only 10%, which then also seemed steeper. In addition, it became windier and colder with the altitude. 3 degrees ... felt 0! Down at the lake then again 15...16 degrees.
