this but also the previous Ns. The views of the valleys of Imperia are "wasted", they are everywhere.

On this route there are several beautiful views of the Caramagna Valley, of the village of Caramagna Ligure, of the coast in the background with the impressive town of Porto Maurizio on a hill

classic panoramic point from which you can photograph the village of Doldeco and Ripalta in the background. A classic. The bridge was built by the Knights of Malta.

Passo di Santa Brigida Gravel Road

Highlight • Mountain Pass

one of the few completely unpaved dirt roads that connect the church of S.Brigida with Pietrabruna. The alternatives are all valid for MTB only. The descent from the slopes of the Faudo to Pietrabruna seems to get lost at a certain point, but apart from 5 meters of bike on your back you can do everything in the saddle.

Torre Prarola

Highlight • Monument

Along the disused railway line, transformed into a fabulous cycle path, there is a recently built rest area with a splendid view of the ruins of the Prarola Tower.

It is worth stopping here to enjoy the view.

Ponente Ligure Cycle Path

Highlight • Cycleway

October 2024: The pista ciclabile is ready between Ospedaletti and Porto Maurizio / Imperia. The section within Imperia is still under construction, except for a small piece (tunnel) in Oneglia / Imperia. The section between Imperia and Diano Marino is temporary closed for completion so this means climbing the Capo Berta on via Aurelia.
The section from Cervo to Andora is also under construction. Probably not completed until summer 2025.

Second day in the Ligurian hills, starting from Santo Stefano al Mare, Civezza, a walk to see the lakes of Lecchiore, Dolcedo, and Visaia; we descend to Porto San Maurizio and get back on the cycle path.

Showing Translation

In the summer months it is worth leaving early and enjoying your first cappucino and brioche in Civezza. Afterwards take a refreshment at San Lorenzo in the sea. Return on the great cycle path along the sea and return to our valley at Borgo Prino.
