Our second tour in the Vosges started today at the Pierre-Percée lake. The first 5 kilometers along the lake were without any significant elevation gain. That was quite pleasant after the heavy climbs yesterday 😉.

But then we went up to the Roches de la Xaveure. Here we could see some impressive rocks: an elephant head 🐘, a table and …

It was supposed to be a 10km loop but unfortunately we had to turn back because it was getting late.
At the Roches des Marie (beautiful rock formations), a path leads along the top 👍.
There is not much left of the Chateau Pierre-Percèe but the view of the lake from above is breathtakingly beautiful!!!
