Windy Mountain

Highlight (Segment) • Summit

The winding ascent to the "Windy Mountain" (Roque el Viento) from San Andrés is quite sweaty. As the name suggests, the wind promises some cooling.

Comments

March 3, 2025,Anaga-Gebirge: La Laguna - Chamorga - Santa Cruz
We set off early to make the most of the dry hours - rain was forecast from midday. The climb from La Laguna into the Anaga Mountains was a dream: dense laurel forest, the first rays of sunshine through the branches, then the view of the freshly snow-covered Teide.
