Destination of the Alpe-Adria cycle path. After eight daily stages with a total of 410 kilometers, you really deserve the jump into the Adriatic. Three beaches with wonderfully clean water invite you to do so. In general, Grado is a very welcoming and interesting place. In addition to its long and turbulent history, Grado is now very popular with tourists. There are over 30 hotels, four campsites and around 40 to 50 restaurants and pubs. A specialty is the Gradeser Boreto, a fish soup. There are about 30 different species of Boreto, depending on the season other species of fish are included. In the months from April to November there are many gastronomic events dedicated to the fish products of Grado and the vegetables that come from the hamlets of Fossalon and Boscat.
