Belvedere Park is located in the Posatora neighborhood of Ancona and enjoys a breathtaking panoramic view of the harbor and the entire historic city center. Legend has it that the angels rested here on their way to Loreto (hence the name Posa et Ora). It opened in 2005, and since then, entertainment events have been held there on summer evenings. In addition to the park itself, which features a small modern amphitheater for performances, other attractions include the 13th-century church of Santa Maria Liberatrice (Ancona) and a vast 19th-century villa, currently undergoing restoration, where King Victor Emmanuel II stayed after Ancona's accession to the Kingdom of Italy.
