This is a nice, spacious campsite located just off the Catoctin Mountain Highway. The campground is well maintained and features picnic benches and a toilet. Some sites have electricity, and you are able to self check-in.

Utica Covered Bridge

Built in 1834 to carry people over the Monocay River, the original bridge was destroyed and moved in 1891. This is a beautiful historic bridge with Burr truss.

Loys Station Covered Bridge

Loys Station Covered Bridge has had a turbulent history. Built in 1848, it crosses Owen's Creek. In 1991, it was burned down by an arsonist who plotted to fraudulently take the insurance money. It took three years to rebuild.

This historic wooden bridge was built in the mid-19th century to carry passengers across Owen's Creek. Although the smallest of the covered bridges in the county, it is no less beautiful.
