There is a great view of nature right behind the campsite. The cycle path here runs on a quiet county road.

August 9, 2023,Venn/Eifel/Mosel Radweg Tag 2:von Kyllburg bis Stadtkyll😃🚴🏻‍♀️🚴🏻
Day started with drizzle 🌧️. Driven through a lot of nature, whereby the landscape gradually changed, i.e. the Kyll river became ever wider. From Junkerath you drive on the former Quervennbahn 🛤️🚇, which then goes far into Belgium.
There were also other sights: Dechent Tunnel, Linden healing spring, Helenenquelle, former Cistercian monastery, Bertradaburg, Löwenburg castle ruins

The section from Kyllburg to Stadtkyll is very scenic and the route is OK.
There are also restaurants ☕🍰🍺along the way.☺️
We also made a detour to Malberg Castle, which is very worthwhile. Beautiful, very well-kept grounds in a magnificent location!👍🏻
And we also took a look at Hillesheim. With its city wall and diverse restaurants, it is definitely worth …

Showing Translation

Since we arrived at the idyllic campsite on the Kyll River by 3 p.m., we still had time for a stroll around Kyllburg. It was a bit depressing (so many empty houses, hardly anyone around...), but the collegiate church was worth seeing, especially the cloister!

Showing Translation

Be careful, someone has twisted the sign for the Kyllradweg in the Bolsdorf thoroughfare. That cost us an extra 5 kilometers.
