Today we went from Schalkenmehren past the Schalkenmehrer Maar, Weinfelder Maar, Gemündener Maar towards Daun. After a coffee and cake break☕️🍰 we went back to Schalkenmehren via the Maare-Mosel cycle path. The highlight on this path is a tunnel called the Großes Schlitzohr, which is 560 m long and only for cyclists, hikers and bats.

Despite the persistent drizzle, a nice round with increased difficulty in places as paths blocked by trees made an interesting round.
