Actually, a really nice hike for (late) autumn or even before early summer, as it can get quite warm in the vineyard terraces.
However, while completing the tour posted here, I discovered that it doesn't make much sense to walk directly from the Blankenhorn ruins down into the valley via the Wolfsklingenweg. Instead, you should follow the beautiful nature trail …
