The hike begins on the Diois side at the Col Menée tunnel. A pastoral site at this time of year, with beautiful and varied flora. Once I reached the mountain, I saw a griffon vulture soaring quite close. No patou yet.

We got up extra early because of the heat and managed the climb when the temperature was still cool. The summit looks pretty unspectacular when you look back. But at the top there is a long, narrow ridge that made us both feel dizzy. A wonderful, varied tour!
