Rhinefield Ornamental Drive takes you straight through Blackwater Arboretum. Many of the trees along the road were planted back in the late 19th century when Rhinefield House was built. The once country mansion is now a hotel.

Owned by the Beaulieu Estate, the mill is one of a small number of relatively intact tide mills that survive in Britain. The dam is a haven for wildlife, with herons, egrets, kingfishers and oystercatchers regularly spotted here.
