The additional drive to the reservoir in Sassiere National Park was a spontaneous decision. I had no idea what was coming. It was stunningly beautiful but also really tough.

La Rosière with its permanent works.. What a joy:/
The variant before Sainte Foy-Tarentaise and the "official" road of the pass is in very poor condition, the descent is really rough between potholes, gravel, bends that close and the slope regularly around 10%. I recommend the official route!
