All the devices belong to the private collection of Luis del Olmo, pieces that the journalist has given to the City Council for the creation of this museum.Va was inaugurated on June 9, 2012 and expanded with one more floor in July 2019.

This is the first radio museum promoted by the journalist in Catalonia and the second in Spain, after the "Luis del Olmo Radio Museum" was inaugurated in Ponferrada in 2003.

The museum also has a room dedicated to the architect and artist Josep Maria Jujol (a close collaborator of Gaudí). There are 6 chandeliers and a polychrome wrought iron crucifix on display, among other information about the artist.
