Amazingly varied little hike near Buchenberg in a rain shower.

The starting point is a small, hidden hiking car park near Buchenberg. It's amazing that this is not signposted on the gravel access road but now costs money (1€/hour).

From here, we mostly headed for wide forest roads along a well-made soil educational trail. We then continued on small, unsignposted …
