Johannes Bückler (French Jean Buckler, nicknamed Schinderhannes or Schinnerhannes) was a German robber who was particularly active in the Hunsrück region. He and his approximately 200 accomplices were proven to have committed at least 211 serious offenses, mostly thefts, extortion, and robberies, but also robbery-murder and murder. Arrested in 1802, he was executed in 1803.
