Étables-sur-Mer

Highlight • Settlement

The village is located on a plateau above the family resort. Both are connected by an avenue of villas. The two famous beaches, the Plage des Godelins and the Plage du Moulin, are separated by the Pointe du Vau Burel. There is also a nice park. And on the cliff of Etables is the Chapelle N.-D.-de-l'Espérance.

View of the Côte du Goëlo

Highlight (Segment) • Viewpoint

The Côte du Goëlo is a real gem! The region is located on the west side of the Bay of Saint-Brieuc and contains many beautiful treasures that you will discover during this short trip. So you can taste the atmosphere of a number of authentic Breton ports: Paimpol, home of the "pêcheurs d'Islande", and Saint-Quay-Portieux, the capital of the scallop. At Plouha you walk over the highest cliffs in Brittany. And finally, how can you not be enchanted by the charm of the island of Bréhat? Just let yourself be seduced!

Church of Tréveneuc

Highlight • Religious Site

While strolling through the heart of Tréveneuc, you can admire the exteriors of the 14th century Saint-Colomban church, the Pommorio castle or the Saint-Marc chapel. The latter stands near the eponymous cove and also dates from the 14th century.

But it is above all for its natural heritage that the village is appreciated, notably with several ZNIEFF. Hiking trails allow you to appreciate the cliffs of Goëlo or the tip of Bec de Vir before going to the beaches of Port-Goret or Saint-Marc.
Pommorio Castle hosts its garden festival every April with nursery exhibitions and various activities around flora.

The renowned Fest Noz takes place every first Friday in August. Very nice event! Organized by the festival committee.

Saint Lawrence Chapel

Highlight • Other

Built in the 16th and 17th century by the La Feuillée family on a place called Kergrist whose name comes from the Christianization of an ancient Celtic place of worship or a cult propagated by the Templars. The chapel was almost entirely rebuilt in 1893 , it is made of granite and schist. Its general appearance has remained the same since that date. Continuing the chapel you can notice the washhouse as well as the fountain which has been completely redone, from which water flows beneficial for the eyes, a little higher up an ordeal which must also be considered. Inside the chapel, you can discover very beautiful statues, Saint-Laurent, Saint-Yves, Saint-Anne, Sainte-Marguerite, Saint-François d'Assise as well as a mysterious 16th century statuette in polychrome wood it represents a standing character dressed in a long dress, you will also be able to admire the altarpiece restored thanks to funds raised by the association of the companions of Saint Laurent during the various events organized; such as plant festivals, garage sales, exhibitions, small concerts or even storytelling evenings...
