Keswick Railway Path Tunnel

Highlight • Bridge

Great simple ride (we did Threlkeld to Keswick and return). Easy enough for the youngest, fast enough for the eldest.

Nice river, pleasant place for a stroll

Brundholme Bridge

Highlight • Cycleway

Recently replaced bridge on the Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Trail. The old bridge was damaged beyond repair by Storm Desmond in 2015. Its replacement is actually 20m longer than the original.

Keswick to Threlkeld Railway Path

Highlight • Cycleway

Very smooth surface but has a tendency to get busy with walkers and other cyclists. Watch it in wet and icy conditions, the surface is almost too smooth. Use your bell to warn other trail users and take it easy!

Lovely techy decent coming off from the top, tight switchbacks all on the scree and boulders.

Just watch out for other users on the path — best saved for quieter times.

Awesome!

Caldew Trail

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

A long singletrack trail along the hillside below the peaks of Coomb Height, Great Calva, Bowscale Fell and Mungrisdale Common. Best ridden in the drier months, it can get pretty boggy and wet here in winter.
