January 6, 2025,Sächsische Schweiz: Durchs verschneite Bielatal zu den Herkulessäulen
An adventurous favorite tour in the lesser-known part of Saxon Switzerland, both in summer and winter. Sure, the locals know the Bielatal and it can still get crowded on weekends, but it's no comparison to Bastei, Königstein & Lilienstein. But be careful in winter: the steps and stones can be quite slippery... The descent at Johanniswacht should also be enjoyed …

Afternoon walk to the Hercules Pillars☺️. The "highlight" on the way back was the Sachsenstein... narrow passages and narrow ladders😉, so you had to leave your backpack down, otherwise "you can be thin, it doesn't matter... it won't fit through the crack in the rock"🤣 and hope that no one comes towards you 😇.

Good morning ☕🌞🐕😀...

Today we had another little hike planned😉🤔..the Hercules Pillars, the Sachsenstein..simply fantastic...but also all the other rock formations 🫶🥰..I love it...

Unfortunately the weather isn't any better, hardly any sun ⛅, a lot of wind, still cold and it always looks like rain🥺😥...

But 🥵😂 up steps..down steps...and up and down again🫤😳🫣..it makes you very, very warm😄🥴

Climbed more than hiked. Beautiful, even for children.

always works! A small round through the sandstones around the Bielatal. The Columns of Hercules and the Kaiser Wilhelm festivals in particular are worth a hike at any time of the year.

Thanks to @Felsenwege ● Outdoor Adventure, I did everything right again today.

Everyone had fun and thought the tour was great.

Thanks to me and my unmistakable navigation skills with komoot, we even unintentionally discovered even more cool routes.

We have to go back here again 👍

We didn't know the Bielatal yet and we wanted to look at the Hercules Columns. So we took the bus to the Schweizermühle and from there took a short walk on great paths, with fantastic views. We will be back definitely.
