The destination was the bunker from the GDR era, built between 1979 and 1985.

With an internal temperature of 11 degrees, we looked at the bunker, then we went for a nice walk on the Rennsteig. It was very beautiful there.

The starting point was the Hotel Gastinger in the direction of the center of Schmiedefeld. This is where the MDR is filming for "Unser Dorf hat Wochenend" at the weekend.
A bit on the Dr.Wald way we went past the Lenkgrund to Frauenwald. There was a little refreshment here with 🌭 and mulled wine 😊
