Hike completed from 10:00 AM to 1:45 PM in sweltering heat (28-30 degrees Celsius) in February 2026. Be warned, the climb to Rui Vaz is quite steep and the trail is difficult to find in two places! We shortened our hike and didn't go to Rui Vaz, continuing on to Longueira. Upon arrival, we found the Lemba-Lemba eco-camp run by …
