The Jaume I camp is in the municipality of Alcalá de Xivert, 4 km south of the town of Alcossebre, in the El Baix Maestrat region, and 50 km from Castellón.
The Camp, which occupies an area of almost 74,000 m2, is located on the edge of the sea and has a large pine forest and esplanades for shops. Among the pines are the various services of the facility: a large kitchen with a grocery store, a cold room and a freezer room, and an additional kitchen for winter campers; It also has a large covered dining room open to the surroundings, an infirmary, a house for service personnel, two hygienic pavilions with WC, and another two with sinks and showers with hot and cold water; a multifunctional sports court and two large esplanades for football and all kinds of activities.
Located in Alcossebre, a small medieval town of Arab origin, later populated by fishermen and today dependent on Alcalà de Xivert, which has achieved significant development as a complex of modern hotel facilities, centered on the Les Fonts area, a true tourist hub. To the north, the coast offers picturesque landscapes with cliffs that the Sierra de Irta precipitates into the sea, among which cozy coves open up such as La Cala Blanca and La Cala Mundina. In this area stands La Badum, a watchtower and defense tower. To the south of the urban center and in the Camp area, there are wide, clean and pleasant beaches. The Segarra river and the tip of Capicorb form the southern limit with the municipality of Torreblanca.
Open all year for groups of 20 people or more, except the summer months, which are for IVAJ (Concerted Offer) programs.
