By train from Salem to FN, change trains to Lindau and get out in Langenargen. From there, the beautiful towns of Langenargen, Kressbronn, Nonnenhorn and Wasserburg are almost always near the lake shore. then back by train. A lot of asphalt on this tour, about 2/3 take place mostly without shade, on bike paths.
