With Grandma Siggi, son and girlfriend we first cycled quite easily to Untersteinach. Since the two young people were riding biobikes they chose the alternative through the Steinach Valley. Our first trip to the Steinach Valley in 2025 was very pleasant, except for the strong headwind on the way back. The Waldschänke is only open Saturdays and Sundays this year from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Seats were stolen at the small rest area by the flood channel below the Berlin Bridge.
