Schützberg Village Church

The hall of the church was built from bricks and partly from bog ironstone. It has a square tower on the west side, which was built around 1700. This is slightly offset from the east-west axis towards the south. The tower has a tower top with a tail cap and lantern. At the time the church tower was built, the entire building was also given a baroque makeover. Of the three windows in the east wall of the church, only the middle one has been left in its original state. The windows on the south side are partly bricked up or have been reshaped in a baroque style. A baroque sundial is attached to the southeast corner of the church. This was restored in the 1990s.
