Since Easter was reserved for the family, the day after Easter Monday we took a tour to western NRW to see the birth of the Mittelland Canal. The Mittelland Canal branches off from the Dortmund-Ems Canal at the Nassen Dreieck. It was a beautiful tour along the Aa and the canals in the most beautiful sunshine.
