St. Rochus Shrine, Broich

The sanctuary of St. Rochus is located on the corner of Rochusstraße, about 500 m east of the parish church. It is a pointed arch, simple, plastered structure with a metal cross on top. Behind a barred niche is a statue of St. Roch, 65 cm tall, painted from wood. The sculpture of St. Roch and the lattice are from 1750. St. Roch is depicted with a pilgrim's staff and a dog carrying bread in its mouth, and has two crossed pairs of keys in relief on his cap.
