Since the weather today made Lake Furnas completely invisible, we didn't walk around the lake, but rather to a waterfall in a park. It's a special experience even when it rains, because plants grow here that I only know from the botanical garden or much smaller.

Beautiful garden for a relaxing walk. Lots of camellias, palm trees and a small church in the Gothic style. There was also a small ruin, perhaps a mill and the Rosal waterfall is about 100 meters high. Entrance is 5 euros. Outside the garden, a little way along the lake, is the oldest Araucaria in the world...or so it says …
