City worth seeing, ideal to reach on foot. Plan to stroll through the streets.

Today we went to Piran again. On the way there we visited the former salt warehouses, there is a small museum for sea salt production, Slovenian sea police and about pleasure boats and boat building. Then we went to Piran for lunch.

Today we went from Portorož along the waterfront promenade to Piran. We even spotted dolphins from the shore.

In the afternoon, Lipica was on the agenda, and we went hiking there again in the morning.

Since it was supposed to be 31°C today, we decided on a short city tour, with little elevation gain and mostly along the waterfront. This took us from Portorose to Piran and back. Unfortunately, we were caught in a rain shower, but there was always a gentle breeze along the waterfront, so our clothes were quickly dry again.

Very nice evening walk to Piran along the seafront promenade after spending the afternoon on the beach upon arrival.
Piran is a small resort town on the Slovenian Adriatic coast, known for its long pier and Venetian architecture.

Showing Translation

Since it was so nice in the summer, we drove back for a few days before a meeting in Ljubljana at the weekend. Still very nice by the sea, water temperature 20 degrees.🤗👍

Arrived at lunchtime, explored Piran briefly from the hotel, ended up in the beer garden and had a sundowner beer🍺.
Very beautiful sunset 😍
