Friday Street Mill Pond

Highlight • Lake

This mill pond powered a hammer mill here until the eighteenth century. It's a beautiful spot, relatively quiet, but popular at weekends. The Stephen Langton pub just down the road used to be a draw, but is currently closed and up for sale.

Tillingbourne Waterfall

Highlight • Waterfall

Not far from the source of the River Tillingbourne at Tilling Springs is Surrey's tallest waterfall. No comparison of course to waterfalls elsewhere, but nonetheless a pretty spot 😊

Tilling Springs Pond

Highlight • Lake

This is someone's private garden, not much point making an excursion here

Coldharbour Cricket Ground

Highlight • Rest Area

The highest cricket green in the south east of England, this has to be one of the most picturesque places to play. If you are out walking on a Sunday in the summer you may even be lucky enough to catch a game in action.

Tilling Springs Meadows

Nice place to sit down on the grass for a break.

Leith Hill Tower and Viewpoint

Highlight • Viewpoint

Cool place for a Sunday walk with or without family. You can enter for a small fee to the very top of this tower from where there is a wonderful view of the surrounding area and you can also see planes landing on Heathrow in good weather.
