You can also plan perfectly from Innsbruck by train!

Today with Kristine and Walter. From Scharnitz train station through the Riedl along the Isar to Mittenwald. Then it goes in quick succession: Lautersee, Ferchensee, Elmau Castle, Das Kranzbach, Geroldsee, Barmsee, Tennsee...across the Buckelwiesen...snack on the Goasalm...Schmalensee. Back to Mittenwald and back to Scharnitz.

A highlight every year. From Scharnitz through the Riedl to Lautersee and Ferchensee. Via Schloss Elmau and the Hotel Kranzbach to Klais. From there to Geroldsee and further to Barmsee, up to the Buckelwiesen and back via Schmalensee and Mittenwald. Wonderful tour with Alois and Gabi.

from Scharnitz via Mittenwald to Lautersee and Ferchensee. Continue via Schloss Elmau to the Hotel Kranzbach... down to Klais and Geroldsee. From there the Barmsee was approached. Then the bitter awakening: Instead of the Tennsee, there is only a meadow...it's just gone. Via the Schmalensee back to Mittenwald and Scharnitz.
