October 12, 2024,Schwarze Berge (Rhön): Berghaus Rhön - Basaltsee Tintenfass ✒️ – Würzburger Haus

Small, very muddy hiking trail in the "Schwarze Berge" nature reserve in the "Rhön" biosphere reserve. The designated and official circular hiking trail was very beautiful at first, especially from the "Inkwell". Unfortunately, it leads downhill along a long stretch of asphalt road. Traffic is limited, but next time I would plan the return journey differently.

The tour follows the Rhön circular route no. 7 (Black Mountains) with detours to the Würzburg House and the inkwell. From the Vier Eichen car park, the access road to the Berghaus Rhön (asphalt) is quite a stretch, otherwise there are forest and gravel paths and some natural paths.
