Biella San Paolo railway station

The station was activated on 18 May 1939, on the occasion of the inauguration of the Biella-Novara railway from whose inaugural convoy the head of the Government Benito Mussolini descended with a large following of authorities[2], however becoming operational only from 20 July 1940[3 ] due to the need to complete some systems[4] and the absence of rolling stock[5]. The facility was originally a head station, where this line ended.

In 1958 the connection with the Biella-Santhià line was created, which until then had its terminus in Biella, located in Piazza Vittorio Veneto.[6][7]. Since then the facility became a through station, which in addition to performing the role of terminus, also constitutes an exchange point between the two lines.
