Hard road ride. Very good fitness required. Mostly well-paved surfaces and easy to ride. The starting point of the route is right next to a parking lot.

Sausse Pass

Highlight (Segment) • Mountain Pass

Very nice climb. Not too difficult, not too long. I stayed at the col a few years ago, so on every ride I had to climb this col. Always done with great pleasure.

Gorges de Trente-Pas

Highlight • Gorge

Driving through the gorge from the Col de la Sausse leaves nothing to be desired. Beautiful views that are only to be enjoyed because we are just leaving. So don't just step on the gas, but enjoy the gorge.

August 31, 2021,Unser Freund "Schorsch" - Circuit des trois Gorges - relaxed
We are now equipped with a cycling map, because here in the Drôme department a lot of cycling tours are well signposted. There we found Tour 101 is the "Circuit des trois Gorges", but we did a bigger lap and took the most beautiful "Schorsch" with us: The one with the "30 steps": "Gorges de 30 pas", very worth seeing! …
