Bit busy on the road up. Actually it's only the last few kms past Engelberg that are worth the duelling with the cars on the main drag up. However, 2 pints of Eichhof make for a spectacular ride down, easily keeping up with the cars.

Started in sunny weather, in the high valley of the Engelberg winter sports resort, the sun was mostly gone by 2 p.m.
It was cold. Fascinating the big mountains all around.
The e-bike battery held up well.
